Satellite technologies are widely used in railway transport: for tracking train movements, maintenance of fixed and mobile asserts, for telecommunications and data transmission.


MTech carries out research and development of new railway signaling systems, which involve the use of satellite technologies to determine the exact location of trains and transmit data to locomotives about movement parameters and speed limits.

FPGA-BASED controller for safety related signaling systems


Our research in creating safety-related systems and components has a long and fruitful history. Object controllers for various purposes, central controllers, AWP were created, certified and introduced by our team at many sites and in different countries.


Central controllers are a key element in ensuring safety of signaling systems. FPGA-based principles and methods for constructing such controllers have found wide application in railways and subways around the world.

Tabular hardware description language


An example of realization of natural human aspiration to systemize the information by presenting data in the tabular forms is offered in this research.


The proposed approach is a missing link between textual and graphical representations. It will improve the effectiveness, productivity, safety and reliability of designing digital devices by supporting the conception: “2D Hardware-Tools-Thinking”.
